The Qatar Met department has said there are chances of rain in the country on Wednesday, which may turn thundery in some places at times, and strong winds are also likely.
Thundery rains, along with strong winds and high seas at times, have also been forecast in offshore areas on Wednesday.
The wind speed may go up to 25 knots in some inshore areas during thundery rain and 30 knots offshore, with the sea level rising to 9ft.
The detailed forecast for both inshore and offshore areas says "partly cloudy to cloudy" conditions are expected on Wednesday and there is a possibility of scattered rain, which may be thundery in certain places occasionally.
According to a tweet by the Met department, there are chances of sporadic rain in intermittent periods from Tuesday until the beginning of Thursday, which may turn into thunderstorms at times in some areas.
The temperature, meanwhile, is expected to range from 24-34C in Doha on Wednesday.
