The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced the launch of 'National Campaign for Oral and Dental Health on Sunday' in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) under the slogan 'My Smile is My Health'. The campaign, which will be launched via the official communication platforms of MoPH, aims to raise awareness on the importance of oral care and the positive behaviours towards the current oral and dental services in the community. It will also enhance communication between dental services and other departments in various medical institutions, in addition to encouraging community groups of children, adolescents and adults to follow a healthy diet and reduce sugar in food and drinks.
During the campaign, educational publications on oral and dental health will be published on all the MoPH social media platforms, and of other health sector partners.
