The second edition of the Qatari Song Night, organised by the Music Affairs Center at the Ministry of Culture and Sports, got off to a melodious start on Tuesday.

The two-day event is taking place at Al Mayassa Theatre, Qatar National Convention Centre, with the participation of distinguished Qatari and Arab artistes. A number of artistes performed on Tuesday, delivering mesmerising pieces through the evening.

They included Lotfi Bouchnak, Ali Abdul Sattar, Saad al-Fahad, Ghanem Shaheen, Aseel Hameem, Ahmed Abdulrahim, Nasser al-Kubaisi, Nasser Sahim, Khaled Dalwan, Anwar, Naif Abdullah and a troupe led by Dr Ahmed Hamdan.
