A recent study by the Arab Monetary Fund "AMF" has revealed that The State of Qatar ranked first among the highest countries in the world in terms of deploying fixed fibre networks. It also occupied a leading position in the implementation of mobile and fifth generation networks.
The study issued by AMF confirmed that Qatar seeks to develop a digital society and provide smart, innovative and high-quality services in all fields and specialisations, while creating a strong foundation for the innovative and growing information technology sector that attracts more local and foreign investments.
According to the study, statistics indicate that the Corona pandemic is accompanied by an increase in the use of mobile phones by 50%, and an increase in the use of data on the Internet by about 40%.
