Al Meera Consumer Goods Company has launched a nationwide campaign on the occasion of its 15th anniversary, including special promotions, daily deals and weekly e-raffle draws, to "give back to customers for their loyalty and their role in the company’s success".
The four-week anniversary celebrations comprise promotional campaigns that are running from September 24 until October 21 across all Al Meera branches, the company has said in a statement.
Additionally, a weekly e-raffle will be drawn for the first three weeks of the campaign, until October 14, giving Meera Rewards members the chance to win QR15,000 in Meera Rewards points.
In consideration of customers' safety and to make it easy to enter the draw in light of precautionary measures, the draws will be held through an e-raffle as an alternative to traditional coupons. Customers will be entered automatically on spending a minimum amount of QR150 and are reward members. Fifteen winners will be announced every Thursday (a total of 45 winners), with the final draw scheduled on October 15.
The draw winners will receive an SMS confirmation and the points will be credited to their account within 72 hours of the draw date.

This is not the first time for the retailer to hold special raffles for its members. Last July, Al Meera gave out QR1,000 in reward points to more than 200 customers and also ran a campaign that gifted customers iPads and gold bars on a weekly basis this time last year. Looking for ways to add more value for customers, Al Meera doubled the point earning scheme since last January, giving reward members double the reward points for the same amount spent, the statement noted.
The retailer also frequently runs bonus point campaigns in conjunction with the programme as part of "its continuous efforts to enhance customers’ shopping experience".
Meera Rewards, Al Meera’s loyalty programme, seeks to give back to customers on their shopping experience. Frequent shoppers can avail themselves of a variety of promotions and campaigns as well as enjoy transferring points from Al Meera’s local partners, including Ahlibank. Al Meera aims to enhance the programme further by increasing local partnerships as part of a larger strategy to maximise benefits for reward members.
