Kuwait’s Ministry of Health reported yesterday the registration of 1,072 new cases of infection with the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, raising the country’s tally to 25,184, while the number of deaths is 194.
Official spokesperson of the Kuwait Ministry of Health Dr Abdullah al-Sanad said that all of the cases that have been diagnosed with the disease are cases in contact with confirmed cases, Kuwait’s KUNA reported.
Earlier yesterday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced the recovery of 575 Covid-19 cases, bringing the number of cases that recovered in the country to 9,273.
OMAN REGISTERS 811 NEW CASES
The Omani Ministry of Health announced the registration of 811 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), including 315 cases for Omanis and 496 for foreigners, raising the total number of cases of infection recorded in the Sultanate to 9,820 cases. The ministry added that the number of deaths from the virus is 40, and the recoveries reached 2,396. The ministry called on everyone to fully comply with sanitary isolation procedures, instructions for social and physical separation, and not to leave homes except for necessities.
