In line with its sustained efforts to safeguard staff and customers, and to help them in making their shopping of essentials even safer, LuLu Hypermarkets have issued a series of social distancing guidelines. Signages are placed at vantage points urging shoppers to maintain reasonable distance while in the store and at the checkout queue, according to a statement issued Sunday.

Shoppers are also recommended to suspend the use of reusable bags. LuLu has advised all its customers to limit one person per household to do the shopping. Cashless payment is suggested wherever possible. Customers are reminded to sanitise or wash their hands before coming to the store. There are dedicated checkouts for elderly and vulnerable shoppers in all LuLu outlets.
“LuLu Hypermarket was the first retailer in the region to implement a rigorous Hand Hygiene Campaign named “Your Health is in your Hands” through all its stores aiming to promote awareness on hand hygiene among its customers, employees and general public.
