The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has banned the import of Wales Golden Honey, produced by Jordanian Company Al Keaab, and the honey product Macum Eqimedyumly, produced by Turkish Company Therma.
MoPH has warned the public against the use of these products as the first product contains chemical substances “Vedenafil and Homosildenfil”, and the second product contains “Sildenfil”.
Such chemicals were added without posting or including them in the main production component information, which poses risks to the life and health of consumers who may be allergic to them.
Besides, the two products are not registered in Qatar and not permitted for use. They are only imported individually from some countries for personal use.
Accordingly, MoPH Pharmacy and Drugs Control Department has warned against the use of both products and banned their import.
