A traffic diversion will be in place for a year from tomorrow onwards on a stretch of Al Wukair main road. The diversion has been necessitated by construction of the main carriageway as part of the West Corridor Project, according to a Public Works Authority (Ashghal) statement.
During the period, two lanes in each direction will be closed for approximately 850m and traffic will be redirected to an alternative route with the same number of lanes in each direction (see the attached map).
